I might have just received the greatest Postcrossing postcard ever.
PHLOG turned 2 today…that feels weird.
Some recent snail mail including a cassette tape, a vintage greeting card, and Christmas postcards.
Lots of outgoing post cards today!
Here, have some photos of circles, a random theme of late it seems.
A week’s worth of Postcrossing postcards and a pen pal postcard! Pen pal postcard = 🔺❤!!!
The tree at home was struck by lightning during the summer. The resulting deconstruction looks interesting I think.
On the left; a pile of books I’ve started (a couple on more than one occasion) reading. On the right; a pile of books I want to start reading. Clearly reading multiple books at the same time is not working out as evidenced by the pile on the left however I think I’ll start reading a book from the pile on the right anyway. If ever there were a time that I would use the phrase ‘hashtag yolo’ this is that time -_-
I received this postcard today from my oldest friend (oldest as in we’ve been friends since we celebrated our first birthdays together not as in she’s 150 years old.) It’s handmade from Land o’Lakes, Wi. It feels a bit like a badge, like the ones you sew onto your Girl Scout vest. It has some watercolor and stitching. It’s pretty much the best postcard I’ve ever received. So thanks oldest friend, you’re the best, and so is your postcard.
Really foggy on the Bay Bridge tonight. Kind of appropriate for how I was feeling as I was driving across.
Last day in Portland (day 4 of road trip.)
